Humanoid Energy Explorer
Compare two humanoid operating scenarios or technology configurations. Changes are temporary and do not modify the engineering model.
Model scope and interpretation
The public explorer is a sandbox. Fraunhofer IPA standing, level-walking and 10% grade values are system calibration anchors for the 35 kg reference robot. The default design robot is 75 kg with a 3000 Wh battery, so mass-sensitive subsystem demand is scaled from the reference robot rather than treating 75 kg as the calibration mass. Battery capacity is coupled to mass using the editable pack-specific-energy assumption. Technology effects alter only the semiconductor-attributable fraction of power-stage losses, which is why Si-to-GaN changes may be modest at whole-robot level. Communication & Data Movement uses a separate static + traffic-dependent energy model. Detailed subsystem splits, mass sensitivities, regeneration sensitivity and communication parameters remain engineering assumptions until replaced by measurements.
